Abstract

Las habilidades sociales son un numeroso y variado conjunto de conductas que se ponen en juego en situaciones de interacción social, es decir, en situaciones en las que hay que relacionarse con otras personas. La Interacción social se refiere a las conductas necesarias para interactuar y relacionarse con los iguales y con los adultos de forma efectiva y mutuamente satisfactoria. En el caso de los niños y las niñas con diagnóstico presuntivo de retraso mental este proceso se complejiza aún más, de ahí la imperiosa necesidad de que la familia este bien preparada.
