Papel De La Familia En El Desarrollo De La Identidad Cultural De La Tribu Kikapù

Abstract

El fenómeno de la globalización, tiene una incidencia directa en el desarrollo económico, político y social de todos los países lo que afecta sensiblemente a los llamados pueblos originarios, sobre todo porque se sustenta sobre la base de un desarrollo tecnológico, del que carecen estos, de manera que ciertas influencias los alcanzan, forzándoles a la aceptación de lo ajeno y foráneo, lo que constituye una agresión a la identidad cultural de los mismos. En el presente trabajo se ofrece una caracterización de la cotidianidad de la tribu kikapú a partir de conocer su origen y evolución histórica, éxodos y asentamiento en Coahuila, estado ubicado al norte de México, que nos acerca a lo esencial de su estilo de vida, su cultura y función de la familia en la lucha por desarrollar y preservar su identidad cultural ante el fenómeno de la globalización.
