Abstract

La cultura como conjunto de relaciones humanas que ha transcendido en el tiempo y que le permite al hombre conservar, reproducir, crear nuevos conocimientos y valores para la transformación de su medio social y cultural, cada día cobra mayor importancia como sostén fundamental para la satisfacción de las necesidades espirituales y como elemento de influencia directa en la producción de medios materiales de vida para la sociedad. El desarrollo sociocultural comunitario está estrechamente ligado al desarrollo cultural integral del país y constituye una de las fuentes principales de este, por lo que se ha convertido en una prioridad de la política cultural cubana, siendo la razón de ser del Centro Nacional de Cultura Comunitaria que estimula la participación del pueblo como actor y protagonista de la producción y el disfrute de la cultura popular; a través del movimiento de artistas aficionados, instructores de arte, promotores culturales, así como mediante la investigación de las tradiciones culturales, la promoción de festivales y otros eventos de carácter cultural comunitario
