Abstract

En las circunstancias actuales los medios se han convertido en una poderosa fuerza para la comunicación. A través de ellos se produce un intercambio de saberes que han permitido enriquecer el bagaje cultural de los individuos. De ahí la posibilidad de erigirse en espacios socializadores, y no solo por la información trasmitida mediante los diversos canales de comunicación masiva, sino también porque al imponerse nuevas formas como la Internet, el chat, los celulares, las relaciones interpersonales de la actualidad pasan por estas vías posibilitando expresar emociones humanas o resolver determinadas problemáticas. Por tanto, en estos momentos se habla de la centralidad de los medios en la comunicación
