Cuerpos Deficientes: Un Recorrido Por La Historia Biopolítica De La Discapacidad

Abstract

Esta presentación aborda la mirada de cuerpo en relación con la población en condición de discapacidad, desde un análisis histórico de la exclusión del discapacitado en la sociedad, y la formalización de las instituciones para su atención. Luego, presenta un análisis de la forma en que el Estado desde una biopolítica caracterizada por el planteamiento de bienestar y normalización corporal y social, desconoce a la población en condición de discapacidad. Finaliza presentando la respuesta de estas poblaciones ante condiciones tan adversas presentes en sus sociedades.
