Las Peleas De Gallos Como Expresión De La Cultura Popular Tradicional: Finca El Indio

Abstract

La cultura popular tradicional es considerada como uno de los elementos que configuran y definen la personalidad colectiva de los pueblos, subraya la riqueza de la diversidad cultural y los valores que se transmiten oralmente mediante grupos y comunidades. Por tales motivos el presente artículo se centra en un estudio de las peleas de gallos en la comunidad rural Finca El Indio como expresión de la cultura popular tradicional cienfueguera. En el mismo se hace una caracterización de la comunidad rural citada, a partir de lo cual se desarrolla una metodología cuantitativa debido a su realidad estática y objetiva de la manifestación objeto de estudio, realizándose desde una visión sociocultural, a partir de diferentes perspectivas teóricas y el empleo de bibliografía actualizada y las opiniones de los asociados y trabajadores de la comunidad.
