Abstract

La Peña Campesina: Juan Graña, expresión de la Cultura Popular Tradicional en el Consejo Popular Espartaco; es muestra y ejemplo fehaciente de una manifestación de la cultura popular tradicional expresada en la comunidad rural de Espartaco; constituyendo una forma de recreación y distracción para los habitantes de la comunidad que crearon un alto grado de conciencia con la cultura local y un sentido de pertenencia y arraigo a las tradiciones presentes aún en esta zona. Es por ello que surge la necesidad de realizar un estudio comunitario en este Consejo Popular que tiene como objetivos: analizar la significación sociocultural de la Peña Campesina: Juan Graña, como manifestación de la cultura popular tradicional; determinar las características de la comunidad de Espartaco que la identifican como una comunidad rural e identificar las prácticas socioculturales asociadas a la Peña Campesina: Juan Graña presentes en el Consejo Popular Espartaco. La investigación permitió reconocer la naturaleza de esta Peña Campesina como práctica sociocultural transmitida de una generación a otra; muestra de la identidad cultural de esta comunidad.
