Fiestas De “Fin De Zafra” En La Comunidad Caracas, Municipio Lajas. Un Estudio Desde La Perspectiva Sociocultural

Abstract

La presente investigación surge con motivo de identificar las diferentes festividades que se desarrollan en el contexto sociocultural de una comunidad rural dedicada a labores de producción de azúcar de caña, tema que ha cobrado gran importancia, pues permite obtener una visión generalizadora del fenómeno festivo nacional, especialmente, en lo que se refiere a las fiestas populares tradicionales en la comunidad Caracas. Su estudio aporta datos acerca del desenvolvimiento de los festejos producidos por las cosechas de fin de zafra; sitúa, en tiempo y espacio, cada una de las prácticas culturales llevadas a cabo desde sus orígenes y esclarece si mantiene su vigencia o no.
