El Teatro Cienfueguero Desde Una Perspectiva Regional

Abstract

La determinación histórica de la cultura se manifiesta en la resemantización constante y apropiación de los elementos simbólicos que son creados socialmente. Como bien propone la intelectual cubana Graziella Pogolotti: cultura es “la huella del hombre sobre la tierra (memoria pero autorrenovación constante de los códigos para una construcción del futuro que se volverá memoria mañana)”. Con este análisis se pretende situar la cultura en el plano regional, de este modo se determina que los elementos culturales se expresan en una región cuando responden a una realidad definida económica, política, geográfica y socialmente. Conocer las manifestaciones culturales y saber cómo han influido en el proceso histórico-social de la región, primeramente, y luego su repercusión a nivel nacional, resulta de gran utilidad. Su conocimiento y comprensión aumenta la sensibilidad del pueblo para con ellas, lo que resulta muy favorable para la conservación de la identidad nacional y local, mediante la cultura. Estas manifestaciones han contribuido de alguna manera a enriquecer el proceso histórico y sociocultural de la nación. Una de estas manifestaciones es el teatro
