Precisiones Conceptuales Sobre La Democracia Cristiana Y El Neo-Liberalismo

Abstract

Este trabajo explica las diferencias conceptuales que existe entre dos de las principales corrientes que integran lo que se conoce en las ciencias sociales como “la Derecha”: la Democracia Cristiana y el neo-liberalismo. Se hace una exposición de los principios filosóficos y programáticos de ambas corrientes de pensamiento a la luz de los trabajos de sus propios partidarios, Friedrich Von Hayek para el neoliberalismo, y en el caso de la Democracia Cristiana a Ludwig Erhard que confeccionó su proyecto económico, la Economía Social de Mercado, así como lo declarado en los Principios Doctrinales de los partidos Demócrata Cristianos. Se concluye que aunque ambas corrientes coincidan en algunos aspectos, como la defensa del libre mercado, al mismo tiempo tienen diferencias doctrinales e históricas profundas.
