La Democracia. Aportes Para Un Análisis Conceptual Desde Cuba

Abstract

El modelo impuesto de democracia es antidemocrático: está montado para despojar al pueblo de su poder, porque no lo montó el pueblo. En el devenir de la historia, esta democracia que se ha globalizado, hecha por la burguesía y para la burguesía, es la que se nos quiere imponer, obviando los deseos de la mayoría de los cubanos. Nuestro sistema está estructurado sobre la base del poder del proletariado. Si me obligaran a adherirme al aquí criticado concepto de democracia, diría que es imposible una democracia en cualquier lugar del mundo, incluso en mi patria. La nuestra es participativa, incluso con posibilidades para todas las clases. Cuba exhibe hoy un modelo de democracia (no confundir con una democracia modelo) teniendo en cuenta las tradiciones y formas más viables. El análisis de las definiciones y desviaciones que ha sufrido el concepto es el objetivo primordial de esta ponencia.
