Apuntes Para Un Estudio Estético De Las Viviendas De Iniciativa Estatal Franquista En Las Minería Leonesa Del Carbón

Abstract

En España la intervención estatal en el problema de la vivienda ha sido escasa y muy tardía, estando en manos de asociaciones benéficas, al menos hasta 1911 cuando se produjo la primera intervención legislativa con la promulgación de la Ley de Casas Baratas. Las clases bajas ocupaban los peores espacios de las casas de vecinos, los corrales, o serán desplazados de la ciudad conformando arrabales, formados por chabolas e infraviviendas que darán lugar al barraquismo, fenómeno que ha permanecido enquistado hasta nuestros días. En la postguerra, en el marco de las secuelas que la Guerra Civil dejó en la población española, y en concreto en la pérdida de hogar de numerosas familias, el naciente Estado franquista elaboró una serie de políticas para la reconstrucción de las ciudades y la construcción de nuevas viviendas.
