Abstract

El hábitat minero de la provincia de León se va a convertir en objeto de la intervención del Estado franquista ante el problema que la escasez y penosa condición de la vivienda suponía para el reclutamiento de mineros imprescindibles para el aumento de producción de carbón vital para la economía del país en el régimen autárquico. Sobre todo a partir de 1950 se produce una una intervención específica del Estado a través del INV y que, posteriormente, a partir del Segundo Plan de Desarrollo se va a plasmar en un específico Plan de Mejora del Hábitat Minero
