Abstract

Desde finales del siglo XIX se gestaba una nueva literatura que triunfa en los primeros lustros del XX. El Modernismo es una manifestación hispánica de una crisis universal, desarrollada en un contexto de desazón, malestar. El término Modernismo se aplicó, en el campo de las artes, a una serie de tendencias europeas y americanas surgidas en los últimos veinte años del siglo XIX.
