Abstract

El desarrollo de la dimensión ambiental comunitaria es un elemento que puede lograrse desde el proceso formativo. La Zoología es una disciplina que contribuye a desarrollar la dimensión ambiental comunitaria de los estudiantes, al profundizar en el estudio del mundo animal, haciendo énfasis en su protección y conservación .El presente trabajo aborda el desarrollo de la dimensión ambiental comunitaria desde la disciplina Zoología teniendo en cuenta la efectividad en el enfoque científico de los referidos contenidos, en plena correspondencia con las problemáticas ambientales que constituyen hoy una perspectiva para el conocimiento y la actuación de las actuales y futuras generaciones, asumiendo como premisa la vinculación de la teoría con la práctica, prestándole atención al desarrollo de habilidades y a sentar las bases para contribuir a la formación de convicciones y modos de actuación ambientalistas con un enfoque comunitario.
