El acompañamiento psicoemocional en la escuela rural-bachiller en México

Abstract

La educación rural en México es, como en muchos otros países latinoamericanos, un subsistema educativo alterno en donde las carencias de todo tipo son su principal característica. El y la docente de la escuela rural, indistintamente de su nivel de atención, no cuenta con los recursos elementales para apoyar al alumnado en su desarrollo psicoemocional, proceso fundamental para que consiga un desempeño satisfactorio en su amplio proceso educativo, tanto en el área académica como en su vida diaria. Dentro de la educación media superior en México, aún con los recientes programas de educación socioemocional, la realidad educativa no es tan distinta a la de hace al menos 10 años, y particularmente en la educación rural bachiller, las necesidades de participación de los y las docentes en los procesos formativo-emocionales del estudiantado, es un tema de mucho interés; el posible impacto que podrían generar lograría verdaderamente maximizar la eficiencia escolar y extraescolar de alumnos y alumnas que viven en condiciones muy precarias en todo sentido.
