Educação financeira: uma maneira de conter o consumo infantil

Abstract

Este artigo aborda um estudo realizado sobre o comportamento infantil diante do consumo, pautando situações culturais, onde trouxe à tona uma situação onde a própria família, que deveria ser responsável pela educação financeira infantil, é a maior influência sobre o consumo exagerado e desnecessário, originando grandes consequências desde a infância, até a vida adulta. Com base em pesquisas de abordagem teórica, compreendeu-se a necessidade da educação financeira desde o ensino infantil ao médio, para que houvesse o consentimento dos jovens cidadãos sobre a valorização econômica pessoal, estimulando-os a melhor conduzir suas finanças pessoais, como a necessidade de fazer uma poupança, aprender a gastar, poupar e doar.
