Estado, organismos internacionais e políticas sociais no Brasil (1970-1990)

Abstract

Neste artigo intentamos analisar os aspectos gerais das reformas políticas e políticas sociais implementadas na América do Sul e no Brasil durante o período de 1970 até aproximadamente 2000. Igualmente, investigamos as orientações de organismos como o BID - Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento e o FMI - Fundo Monetário Internacional para os países do Cone Sul. A confrontação das averiguações nos permitiu constatar a influência de tais organismos na implementação de políticas sociais em nosso continente, a continuidade de tal influência e implementação até a atualidade, a convergência entre a efetivação de reformas políticas e o compromisso com a economia capitalista globalizada e a consequente precarização da educação.
