La prevención del tabaquismo en los estudiantes de la carrera de educación primaria en el CUM Jobabo

Abstract

El tabaquismo es reconocido desde hace varios años como un problema de salud pública, debido a que los daños a la salud asociados al consumo del tabaco causan más de medio millón de muertes en el mundo. Esta investigación aborda la problemática relacionada con la prevención del tabaquismo en el Centro Universitario Municipal Jobabo, una necesidad impostergable para la disminución de este hábito tan perjudicial para la salud pues el tabaquismo es una de las adicciones que produce enfermedades nocivas para la salud del consumidor por lo que se nos hace necesario potenciar los conocimientos en trabajadores docentes y no docentes del centro sobre los daños que provoca para la salud del ser humano. En este trabajo se hace referencia a los fundamentos teóricos sobre educación para la salud, la prevención y el tabaquismo. Además, recoge la propuesta de las acciones educativas que están dirigidas a la capacitación de los actores sociales e involucrados en la investigación. Es una investigación que con los resultados alcanzados se declarará el centro libre de tabaquismo.
