Fundamentos epistemológicos del amor a la profesión en el estudiante de medicina

Abstract

En la actualidad es necesario formar un médico que se identifique con su profesión, cargado de afecto, preocupación por el otro, conciencia del otro, dedicado a su profesión, solidario, con un alto nivel de compromiso profesional, por lo que la formación del amor a la profesión constituye un tema de gran importancia y vigencia, sin embargo, aún no se alcanzan los niveles de sistematización necesarios en el trabajo con este contenido. Por ello, el propósito del presente artículo es ofrecer una fundamentación epistemológica de la formación del amor a la profesión, que revela la necesidad que presentan los docentes, de profundizar en el estudio de dicho proceso formativo, así como de su integración en todos los espacios formativos del médico.
