Abstract

El presente artículo define los principales beneficios de implementar las TIC´s en el ámbito educativo y de los retos que enfrentan algunos de los docentes frente al actual panorama del uso de las mismas. Hoy en día los jóvenes se caracterizan por pertenecer a la generación de los llamados nativos digitales, es decir, población que nació después de la invención del internet y que obliga a los docentes de cierta manera a implementar la tecnología en las aulas para mejorar los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje y con ello lograr el perfil de egreso deseado en cada nivel educativo.
