La atención a escolares con necesidades educativas especiales en condiciones de inclusión en la enseñanza general en Palmira

Abstract

La inclusión educativa busca garantizar el derecho a una educación de calidad para todos y se enmarca dentro de la pedagogía. El concepto de inclusión, es el esfuerzo de todos los componentes de la sociedad para integrar a aquellos que son alejados, por diversas circunstancias. El presente trabajo se enmarca en el municipio Palmira, de la provincia Cienfuegos y aborda esta temática a partir de las experiencias en la inclusión de niños con necesidades educativas especiales en el contexto regular. Se muestra el resultado de entrevistas aplicadas a familias y personal docente, así como datos cuantitativos y cualitativos referidos a la evolución y desarrollo integral de estos menores. Se plantea incluir estos contenidos en los programas de formación del personal docente del nivel educativo primario; por convertirse en una necesidad la incorporación de todas las personas a una sociedad integrada donde se conviva y respeten las diferencias.
