Microbiología em foco: uma análise da revista brasileira ciência hoje para crianças no período entre 1997 a 2006

Abstract

A divulgação científica é realizada por diferentes meios como forma de democratização do conhecimento científico. O objetivo do trabalho foi buscar e analisar o conteúdo de microbiologia em Textos de Divulgação Científica (TDC) da revista brasileira Ciência Hoje para Crianças no período entre 1997 e 2006. A pesquisa se caracterizou como de natureza qualitativa. Sete exemplares da revista foram selecionados como fonte de dados entre os anos referidos. A análise pautou-se nos seguintes pressupostos: apelo inicial à leitura, presença de imagens, recuperação de conhecimentos tácitos, presença de procedimentos explicativos, interlocução direta com o leitor, presença de narrativa e analogias. Todas as revistas analisadas apresentam essas formas de discurso. Como alguns conceitos e imagens encontrados podem induzir a concepções distorcidas, salienta-se a relevância do papel do professor como mediador na construção do conhecimento pelos alunos.
