Game cultura: Um panorama pela cultura gamer

Abstract

Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever conceitos e características da Game Cultura. Pretendemos discutir e apresentar os jogos como formas de comunicação e socialização dentro do mundo digital, bem como, na vida real. Discutimos questões como desvalorização e preconceitos; o potencial, força e aspecto lúdico dos jogos; e retratamos o vício em vídeo games de acordo com o viés da Organização Mundial de Saúde. Finalmente, destacamos o mercado de jogos, e exemplificamos consoles e jogos de e-sports, e também ressaltando o cenário cosplay.
