Análisis del entorno virtual de aprendizaje en la educación superior

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación es contrastar empíricamente la relación entre los diversos factores relacionados con el aula virtual en la educación superior universitaria. El estudio se realiza en la Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, localizada en Santiago de los Caballeros (República Dominicana). Este es, pues, un tema de investigación pertinente, puesto que existe escasez de estudios sobre estas relaciones en universidades de República Dominicana. El estudio se realiza a través de una metodología cuantitativa. Entre los principales resultados, destaca la correlación existente entre el número de horas empleadas en la computadora cada semana y el tipo de formación ha recibido el alumno en el uso o manejo de los ordenadores. También se ha detectado correlación positiva entre el número de horas empleadas en la computadora cada semana con la creencia de que el uso de ordenadores contribuye a mejorar la calidad como profesional del estudiante.
