Calidad educativa en Colombia: una aproximación crítica

Abstract

El mejoramiento en la calidad de la educación es un tema recurrente en todos los países en general, y muy especialmente en los países en vías de desarrollo; para conseguir mejorar los estándares de calidad en la educación, las naciones recurren a la aplicación de evaluaciones periódicas de sus sistemas educativos, con el fin de poder detectar fallas en estos y así poder formular políticas públicas, encaminadas a mejorar la calidad en sus procesos educativos; Colombia no es ajena a esta dinámica global, y desde la década de los sesentas ha venido aplicando diversas estrategias para mejorar sus procesos educativos, y tratar de ponerse en este aspecto al nivel de las naciones desarrolladas.
