Publicaciones periódicas digitales: su importancia para los futuros profesionales

Abstract

Los productos y técnicas tradicionales, a pesar de seguir siendo válidos, están siendo relegados a un segundo plano a causa de la eficacia, rapidez, exhaustividad y facilidad de uno de las fuentes de información automatizadas. Distintos son los documentos en formato electrónico que existen en la actualidad. Las revistas, objeto del trabajo, son el medio por excelencia donde se publican los avances científicos y las investigaciones en curso. La información que contienen los artículos de revistas es incorporada a los libros mucho tiempo después de haber sido publicada, son más utilizadas en línea o por INTERNET, que en papel, puesto que el acceso electrónico asegura una mayor cobertura temporal y rapidez en búsqueda y actualización.
