Bienal de escultura Rita Longa en la formación del educador artístico

Abstract

La Historia del Arte en Cuba constituye un pilar decisivo en la identidad del cubano, la cual se conforma del contexto histórico del pasado, presente y proyecciones futuras, en el cual las formas de expresión artísticas son el reflejo de su realidad, las cuales se convierten en protagonistas de la visualidad; donde el arte volumétrico es muestra de ello y Las Tunas es la pionera en el país a partir de la década del setenta influyendo en la realización de eventos que fortalecieron la creación de obras escultóricas (Bienal de Escultura Rita). En esta ponencia se presenta un panorama del evento, el cual forma parte de la historia de la escultura en Cuba, para incluirlo en la formación profesional de los estudiantes de las ciencias sociales y humanísticas.
