Principios en la enseñanza de la geografía

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo reconocer el estudio de la localidad como un principio en la enseñanza de esta disciplina, a partir de los principios de la Geografía como ciencia, establecidos por los clásicos. Esta posición teórica fue asumida en la defensa del doctorado en Ciencias Pedagógicas que realizó el Autor, lo que le permitió, después de 45 años de trabajo como Profesor en la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas Enrique José Varona, en La Habana, hacer esta generalización, a partir de la experiencia acumulada y el resultado de un experimento pedagógico desarrollado en este nivel de enseñanza. Este resultado se ha generalizado a todas las facultades pedagógicas de Cuba y se ha tratado en los cursos de posgrados, diplomados, maestrías y doctorados desarrollados con los profesores del país y en el extranjero.
