Construcciones geométricas utilizando herramientas virtuales

Abstract

A pesar de las facilidades actuales por la existencia de software educativo y específicamente de matemática, hay docentes tradicionalistas que son reacios a los cambios, lo que implica a que los estudiantes no vean de buena manera el estudio de la matemática. Este trabajo expone la utilización de herramientas virtuales Dr. Geo y Kig para afianzar el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes en las construcciones Geométricas, la intención es brindar nuevas estrategias didácticas, utilizando software matemático libre, enfocado al aprendizaje constructivista, permitiendo a los estudiantes desarrollar su capacidad mental cognitiva. Metodológicamente es una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, mismos que se recogieron y analizaron mediante un estudio Cuasi-experimental con una población de 462 estudiantes de educación superior de la zona centro de Ecuador. Los resultados obtenidos de la investigación permiten llegar a la conclusión de que la utilización de herramientas virtuales incide positivamente; puesto que, los docentes se apropian de las Tics para que el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se logre de manera efectiva y además despertar la imaginación de los estudiantes.
