Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó en el Centro Universitario Municipal (CUM) de Jobabo, Las Tunas, donde con la utilización de métodos de investigación, tales como encuestas, observación directa al proceso, y consulta documental a las actas del Consejo de Dirección, permitieron realizar una valoración y análisis de los elementos fundamentales del proceso estratégico que desarrolla el CUM, al mismo tiempo permitió evidenciar y cuantificar algunas de las deficiencias en la organización que influyen negativamente sobre este proceso, lo cual puede ser útil como fuente de información para la toma de decisiones acertada que perfeccionen la Dirección Estratégica en la Institución.
