Abstract

El presente artículo es resultado del estudio de las fuentes del conocimiento y de la experiencia práctica de sus autoras. Tiene como objetivo exponer algunos fundamentos que sustentan el proceso de orientación a la familia de escolares con discapacidad auditiva para la orientación profesional. El mismo puede constituir una herramienta útil para que los docentes faciliten a las familias de estos escolares los recursos y ayudas que les permitan minimizar los obstáculos del desarrollo y garantizar una adecuada selección de carreras u oficios en correspondencia con su discapacidad.
