Abstract

En el artículo se presentan resultados obtenidos en una investigación desarrollada en el Centro Universitario Municipal del municipio Manatí, perteneciente a La Universidad de Las Tunas. Se ofrecen fundamentos teóricos de cómo la universalización de la Educación Superior se ha insertado en el entramado de la vida social del territorio donde está enclavado, propiciando un desarrollo local. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico y empírico que posibilitaron desplegar la lógica investigativa.
