Abstract

El presente artículo es el resultado de una investigación documental y tiene como objetivos el favorecer la comprensión de las competencias transversales o genéricas, reconocer su importancia para la formación integral de los nuevos profesionistas, motivar a la determinación de las que cada Institución educativa del Nivel Superior necesita y ofrecer algunas estrategias que pueden ser seleccionadas por la autoridad para la participación consciente de estudiantes y docentes en la adquisición y/o desarrollo de las mismas y dar así respuesta a las demandas actuales de formación de competencias a nivel internacional.
