Abstract

La preocupación por perfeccionar el desempeño de la gerencia educativa en Venezuela en el escenario de la educación primaria, constituye un asunto de primer orden por su impacto para garantizar la calidad educativa, cuestión vital para garantizar el futuro del país. Ello se produce temporal y espacialmente, en un contexto donde las instituciones educativas necesitan redimensionar su actuación, para garantizar su estabilidad en el tiempo. Partiendo de esta consideración, el objetivo de este artículo es ofrecer un análisis de los antecedentes y estado actual de la gerencia educativa en la educación primaria desde el 2002 al 2017, de manera que ello permita identificar sus puntos críticos y que ello contribuya a reflexionar sobre la propuesta de acciones para su transformación.
