Detección de altas capacidades cognitivas en estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato de instituciones educativas municipales de la ciudad de Quito, en el periodo lectivo 2016 – 2017

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo establecer la validez y confiabilidad del cuestionario de detección de altas capacidades cognitivas en estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato de instituciones educativas municipales de la ciudad de Quito, en el período lectivo 2016 – 2017. En tal sentido, se adaptó el cuestionario para la detección de indicadores de altas capacidades y/o superdotación intelectual de (I. Martínez y C. Ollo) conformado por aspectos imperantes como: estilo cognitivo, motivación, intereses e implicación en la tarea, creatividad y pensamiento divergente, características de aprendizaje y desarrollo social y emocional. Se aplicó el cuestionario a una población de 397 estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato y se encontró que el instrumento presenta altos niveles de validez, confiabilidad, discriminación, correlación y predicción entre sus factores e indicadores por lo que es una buena herramienta para la detección de altas capacidades cognitivas en niños, niñas y adolescentes con características de súper dotación intelectual.
