Rol del maestro primario en la conservación de las áreas protegidas. ¡¿Talleres de superación?!

Abstract

Hoy el mundo está llamado al cuidado, protección y conservación del medio ambiente. Para ello se utilizan diferentes estrategias siendo una de ella la creación de áreas protegidas. Estas permiten el cuidado de los ecosistemas de forma in-situ. Ante este llamado la Educación juega un rol fundamental pues es la encargada de fomentar en las nuevas generaciones los valores medioambientales fundamentales. Es por ello que el maestro debe sentirse preparado para enfrentar esta tarea la cual comienza en el pregrado y donde no siempre se satisfacen todas las necesidades que en torno a este tema se necesitan. Ante esta situación se traza como objetivo de esta investigación aplicar un sistema de talleres desde una concepción didáctica novedosa y que como parte de la superación de los maestros les permita aprovechar las potencialidades que brindan las áreas protegidas para el tratamiento de la educación ambiental.
