Igualdad, discriminación y diversidad en Ecuador. Imágenes para la reflexión

Abstract

Este articulo aborda los conceptos de igualdad, discriminación y diversidad, indagando especialmente en su importancia dentro la sociedad y la legislación ecuatoriana. Se plantea la trascendencia del Estado como garante de creación y cumplimiento de leyes que favorezcan la igualdad y la equidad, pero también se manifiesta la necesidad de un cambio en el pensamiento ético de toda la sociedad, de manera que el final de la discriminación no provenga de la obligatoriedad de un decreto, sino de la voluntad y la conciencia de cada persona para aceptar la diversidad y las diferencias de los demás.
