Usabilidade de um sistema operacional livre: um estudo de caso em uma Instituição Municipal de Belo Horizonte

Abstract

O presente artigo levantou as dificuldades de usabilidade do Sistema Operacional Linux no cotidiano de alunos, professores e funcionários técnico-administrativos de uma escola municipal de Belo Horizonte. Após um estudo bibliográfico sobre software livre e usabilidade, foi feita uma pesquisa com uma amostra retirada dos três setores, quanto aos objetivos descritiva, através de formulários e observação participativa. Realizou-se o estudo no período de março e abril de 2017 para levantar a percepção de tais usuários. Percebeu-se nível de conhecimento semelhante entre funcionários e professores, e destacou-se a compatibilidade dos estudantes para com o Linux.
