La extensión universitaria. Una mirada desde la relación universidad-sociedad con enfoque de transformación social

Abstract

La Universidad Cubana actual como institución social de indudable potencial científico debe acercar más su función desarrolladora a la realidad social de las comunidades desde el proceso de extensión universitaria, situación que conviene redimensionarse desde un vínculo participativo que brinde herramientas para la trasformación social. El estudio pretende ofrecer algunas consideraciones para la relación universidad-sociedad desde la extensión universitaria con enfoque de transformación social; para su realización se utilizaron métodos como análisis-síntesis, el hermenéutico, la observación y la entrevista. Los resultados estuvieron dirigidos a la reflexión desde los postulados científicos y la experiencia para la efectiva relación de la extensión universitaria con las comunidades.
