La formación martiana de los estudiantes de la licenciatura en educación

Abstract

La educación constituye una herramienta para la socialización y en consecuencia posee trascendencia cuando se abordan cuestiones relacionadas con la cultura, la ideología y la participación políticas. Sus vínculos con la reproducción del poder, especialmente ideológico, resultan incuestionables. Lo anterior ha motivado que se haya orientado dar tratamiento a la vida y obra de José Martí (1853-1895). La práctica pedagógica desarrollada ha determinado la existencia de logros significativos, sin embargo aún persisten retos, desafíos e incomprensiones. Dada la naturaleza del personal que se forma en las carreras de ciencias pedagógicas y el impacto de su futuro desempeño se impone la necesidad de reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de la formación martiana, su coherencia con la formación integral y algunas insuficiencias que aún persisten en la práctica educativa cubana. El mencionado objetivo no debe limitarse a un subsistema de enseñanza ni a un nivel educacional en particular, es una obligación de los organismos formadores en general y de cada sujeto que asuma la educación como un encargo social signado por una ideología determinada.
