Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma breve revisão da literatura sobre renda e escolaridade no Brasil. Será abordada a teoria do capital humano, em uma breve descrição do seu conceito, a descrição teoria e aplicação da equação de rendimentos de Mincer, e as contribuições da literatura sobre retorno de escolaridade no Brasil nas últimas décadas. Serão revisados alguns estudos relacionados às taxas de retorno em escolaridade e no Brasil e seus resultados serão expostos visando o estudo do retorno em escolaridade. Também será feita uma breve discussão acerca das diferentes metodologias aplicadas para a obtenção do retorno em escolaridade. Maior ênfase será dada nos valores obtidos por retorno em escolaridade no Brasil.
