Manifestaciones De Sexismo En Libros De Textos De Primaria. Un Anã Lisis Imprescindible De La Cartilla "A Leer"

Abstract

Este artículo es parte de una investigación más amplia sobre el sexismo en los libros de la educación primaria en Cuba. El artículo se centra en la cartilla con la que se enseña a leer en este país; se analiza teniendo en cuenta los modelos y ejemplos presentados en las lecturas, la distribución (y atribución) de oficios y profesiones, modelado de los deberes y funciones de la familia, hobbies (deportes, juegos, instrumentos musicales, etc.) las relaciones de ayuda y cuidado y la relación o la oposición entre la estética y la cinética. El análisis concluye demostrando que el sesgo de género que tiene este texto en particular es indudable, y muestra posibles consecuencias del aceptarlo como parte del currículo explícito y oculto de un período formativo, al ser un texto obviamente, sexista. Se recomienda la revisión de este y otros materiales de enseñanza que no se han actualizado desde hace tiempo, y cuyos sesgos contribuir a apuntalar el androcentrismo y la discriminación.
