Abstract

La Educación y la cultura de paz resulta significativa en los momentos actuales, pues esta prepara a los individuos para ser actores de paz, en mundo tan convulsionado por manifestaciones crecientes de violencia en todos sus tipos. El trabajo que se presenta constituye un programa diseñado para un curso del currículo propio u optativo/ electivo titulado: Educación para la paz y la convivencia y que constituye uno de los resultados de investigación del tema doctoral del autor principal. La implementación del programa por más de dos curso ha permitido a los autores sistematizar y contextualizar a la realidad cubana los objetivos, los principios y los fundamentos metodológicos y didácticos que deben apropiarse los estudiantes de las carreras pedagógicas en la labor profesional que desarrollarán una vez graduados la que deberá traducirse en una educación básica de más calidad, integral y humana.
