Experiencias Y Propuestas Alternativas Para La Enseã‘Anza Universitaria De La Ciencia Polã Tica

Abstract

La ciencia política se ha distinguido desde su consolidación como disciplina universitaria a fines del siglo XIX, por su carácter eminentemente academicista. Los cursos que integran los planes de estudio, en lugar de alentar el espíritu crítico y creativo, se han enfocado mayormente en lograr la adquisición y reproducción de saberes. No obstante, algunas universidades y profesores de diversas casas de altos estudios en el mundo, se han esforzado por generar planes y estrategias no convencionales, a los efectos de promover aprendizajes significativos que permitan a los estudiantes tener una experiencia distinta a lo que habitualmente se les ofrece como parte de la formación profesional. En el presente trabajo, se realiza una revisión de algunas experiencias y propuestas alternativas de enseñanza de la ciencia política en diferentes universidades, como posibles estrategias para mejorar la calidad del proceso de formación.
