Abstract

Este trabajo indica la diferencia entre open source y software libre, conocer que es un código abierto y cuál es su utilidad, debido a los cambios que se pueden generar en la codificación se logra crear una aplicación orientada a diferentes áreas de acuerdo a las necesidades, principalmente en la educación donde todo tiene que ir evolucionando y adaptándose a los cambios, de ello surgen nuevos proyectos de open source, existen otros proyectos orientados al aprendizaje pero la ventaja principal es que se los puede modificar, combinar o crear nuevos proyectos que sirvan al aprendizaje de otras personas. Por consiguiente se debe aprovechar las potencialidades para que las instituciones como los docentes puedan aplicarlo en la educación.
