Abstract

En el presente artículo se muestran los desafíos de la educación del siglo XXI. Se identifica específicamente la situación actual del proceso enseñanza aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero en la carrera de Turismo y Hotelería de la Universidad de Guayaquil. Este diagnóstico preliminar permite reconocer el deficiente desarrollo de competencias lingüísticas en el idioma Francés, para esto se ha citado varios autores donde se aclaran conceptos claves en el ámbito de la educación, así como también se realiza un estudio de las estrategias metodológicas usadas mundialmente al enseñar una lengua extranjera. Contemplando toda la fundamentación teórica, pedagógica y legal, conlleva a justificar la propuesta de analizar las estrategias de enseñanza aprendizaje de tal forma que se seleccionen las adecuadas para el diseño del syllabus de la asignatura. Por efectos de verificación, se realiza una investigación de campo y bibliográfica permitiendo obtener datos cualitativos y cuantitativos con los cuales se determinan las herramientas y recursos necesarios para lograr un aprendizaje significativo.
