Distribuciã“N De La Escolaridad Y Gã‰Nero En Los Municipios De Chiapas, Mã‰Xico

Abstract

Durante el presente trabajo se miden los Coeficientes de Gini para la educación de los municipios del estado de Chiapas, por separado para la población femenina y masculina con datos del Censo de Población y Vivienda de 2010. Estos coeficientes miden la distribución de la escolaridad entre la población y representan una aproximación al diagnóstico de la desigualdad educativa. Los resultados sugieren que la desigualdad educativa fue más intensa entre las mujeres en la mayor parte del estado. También evidencian la existencia de brechas de desigualdad educativa importantes entre hombres y mujeres e incluso entre la población femenina de los diferentes municipios.
