La Importancia De La Comunicaciã“N Externa En Las Universidades Ante Los Nuevos Desafã Os De La Educaciã“N Superior En Ecuador

Abstract

Es fundamental que las instituciones de educación superior cuenten con una estrategia de comunicación externa que les permita enfrentar los nuevos desafíos que se presentaron ante los cambios que sufrieron las diferentes leyes y que estaban relacionadas con el sistema de educación superior, como por ejemplo: el cambio del artículo 350 en la Constitución Política del Ecuador (2008) que modificó la finalidad de la Educación Superior; el Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir (2009-2013) que la incluyó como parte de las estrategias de cambio para el Ecuador; la aprobación de la Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior en el año 2010 y con ello la publicación del Régimen Académico del sistema de Educación Superior. Bajo este nuevo contexto, el presente artículo analiza cómo una institución de educación superior debe priorizar el manejo de su comunicación externa con sus stakeholders para lograr el fortalecimiento de su imagen.
