Abstract

It is essential to know the psychological environment in which the child develops during elementary school, because it has direct projection in their learning ways. Student motivation in the classroom is important for influencing their behaviors, interests, and attitudes, as well as direct impact on the teaching – learning process. The teacher must rescue action patterns that incorporate motivation as a critical aspect of their practice, focusing on the knowledge and application of strategies to promote positive attitudes towards learning, giving students opportunities for choice and self-determination and the promotion of achievement motivation.
